The large mirror mount for the telescope has been designed, constructed, and assembled. It features a low-friction rotating turntable for easy positioning and large 80/20 framing for ease of assembly and stiffness. Currently, the design of the large mirror mount is undergoing minor improvements, and the design and construction of the secondary mirror mount and the optical focuser assembly are underway.
